Explain the concept of relative response
Describe the differences various types of respirators, their use, and how to properly select them based on confined space hazards
Discuss lockout/tagout and other procedures for isolating confined spaces
Describe the effects of environmental conditions, properties of the hazardous material, and interferences on monitoring strategies
List the components of a rescue system
Illustrate the components of an emergency decontamination plan
List features that must be considered when selecting air monitoring devices
Describe the various equipment used for ventilating confined spaces while being able to identify factors to consider when developing ventilation systems in a confined space
Identify examples of hazards found in confined spaces
Demonstrate understanding of calibration drift, the possible causes, and how to validate readings
