8-HR HAZWOPER Refresher Pilot Study Description:
The 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Pilot Study is used to evaluate if NASP has met the learning objectives we set out to achieve. It is of utmost importance that you take this course in its entirety in the Learning Management System (LMS) and refrain from “clicking through slides.” Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and the hours associated with them are meant to reflect the average time to complete the course by a student learning the topic for the first time. Even though you may already be familiar with portions of the material, you must read the content word-for-word so that we can use your timed results as part of our evaluation.
You must document the time (number of minutes) that it takes for you to complete the course, including each course section, each review game, and the final exam on the Pilot Study-Individual Student Calculation Worksheet. The worksheet and instructions will be provided to you upon course enrollment. The worksheet results will be combined with those of other pilot study participants to determine the final CEUs to be awarded for the course studied. Participants will receive CEUs for completing the Pilot Course once the CEU value has been determined.
Additionally, your feedback is what makes this Pilot Study work; we ask that you please complete the Course Review Survey found at the end of the course and provide thorough answers. We thank you for taking the time to complete this study! Because of individuals like you, we can continually create and improve the products that thousands of professionals rely on.
You must complete the Pilot Course and Pilot Study-Individual Student Calculation Worksheet by
Friday, August 15, 2025.
Please DO NOT register for this course if you cannot meet the deadline.
